Scottish Nationals Paragliding Series - August 06

Pictures and video of the Saturday when I was present.

Saturday 5th August 06 - quite a few pilots from around Scotland met up on the hill at Broughton Heights - "Lochurd Farm" and following a briefing by Dave Thomson an open distance task was set.

As I was nervous due to the strength of the wind it was my fault that as a pre launch task - everyone had to complete 10 wing pull ups before flying off. Due to this nervousness and my lack of currency I went a long way down the hill with my girlfriend Ping before launching. All my subsequent launches were fine however I was too low and ended up just having extended top to bottom flights - which I still enjoyed.

I believe that Dave "wiped the floor with everybody" in this task
